Margaret Stephenson Obituary

Margaret C. Stephenson Margaret C. Stephenson, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2011 in Bellingham. She was born March 30, 1922 in Bellingham to Nick and Marica (Zuanich) Mardesich. In her early years Margaret was a model, enjoyed sewing and knitting, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Bellingham Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Bjorn Stephanson. She is survived by her son Sidney Stephanson; grandchildren Jason, Resa, and Zoe; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice House, 800 E. Chestnut St. Suite 1-A, Bellingham, WA 98225. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Tue. Jan. 18th from 3-5 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wed., Jan. 19 at 12 Noon. I grew up next door to Mr & Mrs. Stephenson. They used to take me to the Studebaker Picnic each year. She will be missed.
