Nick Thomas Zourkos

Nick Zourkos, age 49 of Bellingham, passed away March 20, 2011. He was born January 13, 1962 in Bellingham. On August 15, 1991, he married the love of his life Yanna in Greece. Together they had three children: Dimitri, Eleni & Rina. Nick had many activities that he enjoyed in life. He had a great passion for cooking. Nick enjoyed spending time with his children and wife, and enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a great, funny personality & was always laughing. He touched everyone he knew. Nick was preceded in death by his brother George in 1996. He is survived by his wife Yanna; his children Dimitrios, Eleni and Rina; father Dimitrios (wife Eleni) Zourkos; mother Charlene (husband Leonard) Clemetson; his in-laws in Greece: Costas & Eventia Chavos; brothers David (wife Ourania) Zourkos and Jim Clemetson; sisters-in-law Eleni and Anthoula; brothers-in-law Dimitri, Mario and George; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family in Greece and Canada. Memorials may be made to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. Trisagion will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Wed., March 23 at 4 pm. Funeral Services will be held at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church on Thurs., March 24 at 10 AM followed by burial at Bayview City Cemetery. A reception will follow back at the church.
