My friend Alice, Kowaselwet, Miss Social Butterfly, I will miss you and our Sunday phone calls. You were so bright and had a good memory, very strong as I remember you arm-wrestled my 17-yr.-old grandson (and won!)when you had just turned 90 yrs. old. You used to 'Pull' canoes many years ago so you had strong arms. Thank you for making us feel welcome at Lummi for the five years we lived there. And I hope you meet Frank Sinatra, your idol, when you get to heaven. I'm sure he'll sing to you and ask you to accompany him with your beautiful voice. I'll be seeing you, my sweetie. We love you, Norma and Phil

I was sorry to heat about the loss of my cousin Alice. I always looked forward to her smile and hugs when I saw her at the elders lunches. She was married to my cousin Buck Jones and we always shared fond memories. What a beautiful lady she was and i will miss her beautiful smile. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and I am sorry I won't be able to attend the services as one of our elders at Tulalip, who was also a good friend of Alice's funeral is the same time.
