Carlyn Malin Obituary

IN LOVING MEMORY One year ago, Carlyn Jean Malin left us behind. Nicknamed Jeanne while still in high school; she liked it and it stuck. To some in the family, she was always Carlyn Jean. Born June 6, 1942 in Concord, California. She grew up in the nearby towns of Port Chicago, Cowell, Oakley, and Antioch. Additional years spent in Grass Valley, California. In the late 60s, Bellingham won the family over. She and her then husband James MaIin continued to raise their family there, never leaving. What a delight she was; this bright, beautiful, infectiously cheerful, talented wife, mother, daughter, sister. She loved to dance and model. She was born to Carl and Verna Berendsen, both deceased. She is survived by son James, daughters Corina and Tina. Brothers Sloan (aka: Sonny), and Carl. Sisters Virginia and Judy. Grandchildren Buck, Spencer, Michael and Christopher. She is so loved and missed. The last years were not kind to her. Filled with illness and injury. The only consolation for her loved ones; knowing the pain is gone. Rest easy sweet mom ... sweet Jeanne, sweet Carlyn Jean.
