Mrs. Converse was my kindergarten teacher at Birchwood. Although it has been 32 years, I do remember she was a wonderful lady that worked hard at teaching little guys how school "worked." I also remember her being very caring and patient, especially with kids like myself, being a little scared or apprehensive about the school day. She really was great and I'm sorry to hear of her recent passing.

Bill and family, we are so sorry to hear about Carol's passing. Two of our kids had Carol as their teacher at Birchwood and she was one of the best. I also knew Carol on a social level and she was always so kind and great to talk to. She will be missed by many, a wonderful, wonderful lady. We won't be able to attend her funeral because we're in Arizona, but our prayers and sympathy are with Bill and her family. , Don and Nancie

Mrs. Converse was one of my favorite elementary school teachers. So warm and friendly. I made my mom invite her and family over for dinner. She was one of many teachers who built a great citizen and she will be missed. I'm greateful for what she taught me.
