Cathie Amy Leathers-Jefferson, was a loving wife of Angelo Jefferson for 47 years, a loving mother of Dena, Angel, Starla (Anthony) and Sunshine (Alec), a Grandmother and a Great Grandmother.  She fished along side her husband from California to Alaska and on her own boat called the Red Skin. She was a hard worker all her life right up until the end.  She enjoyed weekend bargain hunting at garage sales. She was very clean and organized.  She was loving and caring to all and put others needs before hers. She will be greatly missed by her family, this community and by many fishers of the Salish Sea. Catholic prayer vigil and Funeral Service will both be held at Wexliem Community Bldg Friday April 15, 2016 at 6 p.m. and  Funeral Mass Saturday April 16, 2016 at 10:30 am with her finally rest place at Lummi Cemetery.
