Dallas Duane Trople passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho. Dallas was born on May 27, 1969 in Longview, Washington. Dallas graduated from Toledo High School, where he was inspired by his science teacher, Mr. Caley. He later received a BS in Biology and a BA in Geography from Central Washington University and an MS in Horticulture from Washington State University. Dallas was a passionate teacher, full of answers, who saw the world as a classroom and cared deeply for his students. He was also an avid runner. When not running trails, Dallas could generally be found reading, gardening (especially mowing the lawn), cooking, or cycling. His favorite place to be was at home, with his wife, Jennifer Trople. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his son, Jonah Trople and his son's partner, Saige Trople; his granddaughter, Tula Trople; his parents, Ted and Lexie Trople; his grandmother, Doris; his sisters, Korina Reisbeck and Tracy Trople; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. He is and will continue to be dearly missed. There really aren't enough words to describe Dallas and the impact he had on others. Memorial services will be held at a later date. The family encourages any donations to be made toward scholarship funds at the high school of one's choice or the Ridge to Rivers trail programs in Boise. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Dallas's memorial webpage at www.summersfuneral.com.
