Donald Plagerman Obituary

Donald Ray Plagerman, of Lynden, Washington, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011. He was 82 years old. He was a quiet giver, a product of the Depression and Dust Bowl in North Dakota, who reflected his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who gave His life for us. He was always listening for needs, and enjoyed providing, using farming - he was a farmer at heart - as a means to provide for his family and others. A Memorial Service will be held in Don's honor Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 1:00 PM, at Faith Community Church, 586 Birch Bay-Lynden Rd., Lynden. Carol, our sympathies are with you. I know it must be overwhelming to face the future without your life's partner. Nancy and David, I've walked the road you now walk. All of life seems to come to a standstill for you. I remember when my Dad died and Mom and I had to go to town. I was shocked that the world seemed to go on as any other day, just as if it didn't matter that he was gone. You will remember many great times in life and what a great blessing it was to have him as a father. When my family gets together we will sometimes talk about 'remember when Dad..' and we'll laugh and laugh. Another time someone will say something about Dad and I'll have to leave the room as the tears come - and it's been 22 years for me now.
Alberta and Caroline - it has to be a great loss to lose the last of the brothers in the family. But time doesn't stand still and life comes to an end.. What a GREAT joy and peace we can all have in knowing he now stands before the Lord, face to face with our Savior.
With much love,
Marilyn and Bill Bosman
