She was a precious sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, great-grandmother and friend. Dorothy was the best mother-in-law I ever could of asked for. She was more than an "in-law", she was like a mother to me. She taught me the love of music and art among many other things that have made me the person I am today. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. A very well balanced, classy lady. Her memories and music will always live on. I will miss her deeply.

Dorothy you were the most peaceful woman in life. I am so thankful for Dan you did a good job as he also is a peaceful person. Nobody mentioned that you were also an avid mountain climber in your youth. Thank you also for instilling the love of the mountains in Dan by sending him early in life to ski school and Slalom training . You did a good job raising your children as a single mom and instilled in the the love of music and a positive attitude.

You were the most influential person in my life. You took care my sisters and I because you wanted to, not because you had to. You loved all of us with all of yourself and taught me many things that I will never forget. You made me want to be the best person I could be and I feel that I will always live this way with you in mind. I love you more than anything and I will miss you every day of my life. Thank you for everything that you were and always will be to me. BEST GRANDMA EVER.

My Auntie was the first person to show me what love is, that camping is wonderful, and how simply life can be lived. Her talent was tremendous, her eyes breathtaking, her smile and gentle nature awe inspiring. I've missed Dorothy for some time now and will always cherish her. My sympathy and love to Reba, Rob and Dan.

Dorothy Mae Stock Myers ~ although we never had a chance to meet, please know that you raised a beautiful daughter whose care for others is amazing. She is thoughtful, understanding, merciful, tender, giving and loving with not only each of those she cares for, but their families as well. Thank for you raising her to be the person she is today ~ unselfish and kind. Please know that I am proud to call her my friend.
