Florence P. Bellows passed away in her sleep Monday, October 19, 2015 as she held the hand of her husband, John. Florence and John were longtime residents of Sudden Valley where she was an active golfer, Scrabble, and bridge player. In 2010 they moved to the Leopold Retirement Residence and in April 2015 they moved to Queen Anne Manor in Seattle. Florence was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota. She met John while teaching psychology at the University of Vermont. Later, they moved to Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, where she worked locally as a school psychologist. Florence is survived by her husband, John Bellows, daughters Katherine Bellows (Jim Mitchell) and Barbara Bellows (Mario Martinez), son Carl Bellows (An-Marie Bellows), and grandsons Ian and Jeremy Bellows.
