George Herbert Eden

George Eden Obituary

George Herbert Eden, of Blaine, Washington, passed away on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2011. He was 78 years old. George was always there to help people. He was a loving father and husband, and was Barbara's best friend. Later in life, George found new life in his relationship with God. He was a talented woodworker and loved his motorcycles. Here's to my best friend, from Barbara – God looked around the garden and found an empty space. He looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, for he only takes the best. He knew that you were weary, and he knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never be well on earth again. He saw the roads were getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered "peace be thine". George, we love you and miss you and next time we meet, we'll never say goodbye. …sadly missed and always remembered by your family and friends including your wife of 45 years, Barbara; and children: Michael Wood, Cynthia (Larry) Dunphy, John (Kelly) Wood, Mary Anne (Larry) Brown, Georgina Eden, Mike (Mindy) Eden, and Barbara (Bo) Hill. To the family,
So sorry to hear of George's passing. I recall him as a hard working, straight speaking, honest man who would always be available to lend a hand. May God bless him and add comfort for the family.
