Janet L. Askov of Ferndale, WA passed away February 22, 2014. She leaves behind her daughters, Lorinda Donahue, Kelly Feenstra, Kristina Askov, and her son Donovan Stoa, her brother Richard Foss, grandchildren Seth Campana, Jordan, Randi and Zachary Donahue, Sarah, Luke, and Sydney Feenstra, and nieces Kerri and Tracey Foss. Janet was born June 26, 1943 to Clyde P. and Virginia D. (Brehem) Foss in Vancouver, WA. Janet worked at the WA State Employment Office in Bellingham for over 29 years before retiring from there. She enjoyed working with clients and helping them with opportunities for their future. After retirement, Janet enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and volunteering in her community. She will be remembered for her generous heart that loved helping people in need, her passion for life, her adventurous spirit, and her big laugh that filled the room. In lie of flowers, memorial may be made to The Other Bank where Janet volunteered to help low income families in her community, 5694 2nd Ave, Ferndale WA, 98248.
