Jeanne Giordano--one of the most phenomenal women I ever met. Amazingly kind and amazingly strong-minded. She is one of the people I most hope to emulate. My husband Kyle and I send our condolences to the whole Giordano clan.

Jeanne was an incredible woman and one of the most wonderful grandmothers a girl could ask for. I was quite jealous of my lifetime friend Jessica (her granddaughter) because she had the most fun grandparents. Playing house in their RV will always be one of my fondest childhood memories, and even more so when we drove the RV downtown to see a movie and they took us to play at FAO Shwartz. Too fun. Lots of love to Mary and Jessi- Love Ali

I met Jean and Roy 12 years ago when my wife and I moved into the
Parkway Chateau. We admired Jean a great deal for her equality of
life and service to everyone. She was especially kind to my late wife
in her last days. Jeans fondness for Hawaii also brought back great
memories of our years living there.

Steve, my condolences to you and your father. Your mother sounds like a remarkable woman! What a blessing to descend from a person who has had such a meaningful impact on the world.
I see that she passed on the day that my dad and I crossed paths with you and your dad at PHMG. I'm sorry I did not know then, or I would have offered prayer. Please know that I am praying for you now in this time of loss.

We met Jeanne and Roy over the years at farm worker events in the Northwest. (They are friends of other regional champions, Verne and Rosemary Cooperrider, co-founders of Oregon Farm Worker Ministry.) Thanks to Jeanne and Roy for their faithful presence with farm workers over the decades. Jeanne's spirit and strength live on in the daily struggle for farm worker justice.
