Jeremy J. Jefferson

Jeremy Johnathan Jefferson was welcomed into this world on January 2, 1985. On March 16, 2011 at the age of 26 Jeremy departed this world from his current hometown of Kalispel, WA, where he resided for the past 10 years with his mother and step-father Isabelle and Loren Bowman, his sibling's, significant other Mickiyah Nenema-Sijohn and two sons Daniel and Chevy Jefferson. Prior to that time Jeremy resided with his father and step-mother Mark and Joi Lawrence and sibling's on and near Lummi Nation, WA. Jeremy was a beloved father, grandson, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Jeremy was a proud enrolled Lummi tribal member and referred to himself as a "Lummi Long Time." He attended and graduated from Kalispel High School in 2003. Jeremy was no stranger to hard work and was always willing to lend his helping hand. Jeremy worked as a fisherman, fishing along the banks of the Nooksack River and surrounding Puget Sound waters with his father Mark and numerous other family members and friends. Jeremy also worked as a Buffalo Rancher on the Kalispel Reservation and always enjoyed and looked forward to returning to the job each year. If asked to name one attribute best remembered about Jeremy, the response would most definitely be his smile. His infamous million dollar smile. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 22, at 10:00 AM at the Wexliem Community Building.
