Kay Aronson 02/12/1936 - 12/19/2015 Born Kay Marie Sande in Two Harbours, Minnesota. Kay passed away peacefully on Saturday at 11:40am with sunlight streaming through her window at Hospice House and daughter by her side. It was her Sabbath, and a good day to rest! Kay and her husband Floyd resided in Bellingham in the York Neighbourhood for over 52 years, where they raised their three children. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand- mother and friend. Her soft spoken ways and compassion for others reflected in her life and work as a nurse at St. Josephs Hospital. She will be remembered for her strength, subtle humour, and giving spirit. She loved her God and her family with all her heart. Kay is preceded in death by her husband Floyd (2014) and daughter Julie Williams (2013). She is survived by her daughter Kathy Tanaka (Rick) from Port Hardy, BC and son Bob Aronson from Bellingham, six grandchildren (4 spouses) and five great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and support. A "Celebration of Life" service is scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2:30pm.
