LeRoy Neubauer (age 76) entered into rest at his home in Ferndale, WA. on October 9, 2016. He was born on February 1, 1940 in Wells, Minnesota to Henry and Velma (Armstrong) Neubauer. After graduating high school, LeRoy enlisted in the Navy and served his country from 1958-1966. After his military enlistment, he worked for Intalco Aluminum for 30 years and retired in 1995. LeRoy married his wife, Mickey in Mount Vernon, WA in 1966. LeRoy is survived by his son, Mike (Josephine) Neubauer of Bellingham; brothers, Chuck, Don, Ray and Greg; sisters, Alice, Rita and Grace; three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mickey, and family members Rachel, Michael and Nick. He will always be remembered for the love and hard work he spent working in his yard. One of his most passionate pastimes was fishing. As per his request, there will be no services held.
