Lois Pederson Obituary

If you knew Lois Ann then you know how lucky you were to have had such a beautiful, gentle and compassionate soul in your life. In the wee hours of Monday, May 23, 2016, Lois Ann slipped from the hands and care of her loving family to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. After a long, hard, courageous fight with cancer, Lois Ann decided on her own accord to trade-in pain for the pleasure of reuniting and rejoicing with her loved ones that preceded her own acceptance into Heaven. Family, whether living or already passed-on was absolutely everything to Lois Ann. Those beautiful souls long awaiting Lois Ann's wonderful journey through life and into paradise include; her parents Peder and Ruth Pederson along with her brothers Philip, Dale and Robert Pederson. Those with wounded-hearts left behind missing their precious Lois Ann include; Her doting brother Marshall Pederson and his wife Joan. Her loving nieces Lorna Dale Burden and her husband David, and Tanya Kanoh, her husband Shinichi and their magnificent son Taiki. Her adoring grandchildren, Christopher Broyles-Pederson and his wife Kelly, and Stacie Burden and her fiancé Krystopher Dobbins along with their beautiful baby girl Leah Fae Dobbins. Best friend, Rose Otter who was such a source of happiness and so loved by Lois Ann, is family to us. Lois Ann was a long time member of Northwest Baptist Church and so on Saturday June 18, 2016 at 2pm, we will be holding a beautiful memorial to celebrate the remarkable life fulfilled by Lois Ann, in her church. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made in Lois Ann's name to Whatcom Hospice. There really are no words to express the absolute gratitude our family has for all of those individuals working in harmony at Whatcom Hospice. They provided us all an oasis of tranquility at a time when our wounds were so very raw and we were most thirsty. Whatcom Hospice bathed our beloved Lois Ann in the highest level of care, comfort and compassion thus allowing our family to simply love Lois Ann and patiently await the arrival of her angels. And while the earth beneath our feet is still wet with our many tears, we shift our focus from your beautiful face Lois Ann and we gaze toward Heaven knowing you are at peace and in the best of hands. As Lois Ann's beloved Rose would say "This is not a goodbye because I will see you again."
