Louise C Eirich was born in Marysville, CA on December 26, 1916, to parents Adolf and Anna (Jalakanen) Muller. She left us to be with the Lord, November 28, 2015. She had graduated from high school and was working in retail when she met the love of her life, Fred Eirich. They married in California and moved to Seattle. Transfers moved them between Washington and Oregon until they settled in Kirkland in 1955. In 1997 she moved to Lopez Island and in 2011 to Bellingham. She was an extraordinary homemaker, a marvelous cook, gifted seamstress, and had a generous, caring spirit. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Fred, daughter Judith, brothers Adolf Muller, Otto Muller, and sister Bertha Kothe. Surviving are daughter Carolyn (Ernest) Laulainen of Woodland, their children Mike Laulainen, Michelle Dorsch, Mark Laulainen; daughter Janice (Richard) Coltran of Lynden, their children Nissa Coltran, Megan (Tim) Lenseigne; son Richard (Linda) Eirich of Kirkland, their children Michelle Whorley, Kathleen Jones, Kristen Cornell, Ryan Eirich; four great-grandsons; and sister-in-law Pat Muller of Carmichael CA. A private memorial service will be held at Acacia Memorial Park, Lake City, WA. The family wishes to thank Whatcom County Hospice for their attentive, tender care and the caregivers at Highgate Senior Living that treated her with gentleness and respect.
