Margaret Harris Obituary

Margaret Ann Harris (Maggie) passed away April 28, 2011 while vacationing in Reno, Nevada, with her husband Lawrence. Margaret was born is Savannah, Ga., Oct. 31,1938. Margaret was pre-deceased by by her son Daniel, husbands John Smith & Roy Ollenberger. Margaret is survived by her husband Larry; daughters Kelly (Randy) Bylsma of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Donna (Mitch) Thomas of Springhill, Florida, Pam (Tony) Morgan of Williamsburg, Va., Dale Henry of Tilden, Nebraska. Margaret is also survived by her brother M. L. Ayres (Mary) of Jessup, Ga., 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and an extended step family. Margaret lived in Whatcom county Washington for 30 years, where she worked at Tony's Tavern in Custer and at the Lone Jack Saloon in Sumas where she became "Pull Tab Maggie." Margaret married her present husband Lawrence in 2001 and soon retired in 2002. During their time together they have enjoyed life to the fullest. Margaret loved a variety of things such as quilting, hockey, ocean cruises, car racing, and eagle watching. Family and friends are invited to celebrate in the celebration of Margarets life which will be held at the Royal Court Condominium complex at 31930 Old Yale Road in Abbotsford BC on Saturday May 7th from 1-5 PM.

Many miles keep us from being there on Saturday to be with you and yours on this special day for Margaret. We have many fond memories of her and her children.
