  • "My dear Marianne, My memories of our times together are so..."
    - Pam Eide

Marianne passed away peacefully on November 15, 2016 after a long battle with dementia. She was preceded by her husband John, both parents and two sisters. Marianne was born in Vancouver, BC on January 26, 1928 and is survived by her sister Heather Wallinder of Calgary, AB; nephew Brad and his family of Cochrane, AB; also nieces Kim, Lisanne, Trilby and Tami of the Seattle area and her husband's nieces and nephews in BC. Marianne had a career in accounting, living in Seattle, Tucson and Sacramento. She was a gourmet cook and enjoyed entertaining her husband's business friends. Since retiring to Bellingham from Sacramento, Marianne volunteered her time with the Assistance League, PEO and enjoyed good times with the ladies of the Red Hat. She especially enjoyed walking and playing with her Bichon dog Jacque. At Marianne's request, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army "kids for camp" program or the Alzheimer Society of Bellingham.
