Marilyn Schutte (Little) passed away on January 18, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Schutte. She was born to Dorothy and Mike Little on September 13, 1940. She is survived by 4 sons, Michael, Mark, Matthew, John and grandson, Holland Schutte, her sister, Marlene Erlandson and husband, Richard, of Bellingham, her brother, Larry Little of Sierra Vista, Arizona. She also had 6 foster daughters, Katie, Bobbi, Nancy, Betty, April and Shelly. Marilyn worked at Georgia Pacific for several years and later at Western Washington University as a custodian. She had a new home built in 1998 on Valhalla and enjoyed her yard and flowers and having her many friends over. Growing up, Marilyn loved to camp and picnic with her aunts, uncles and cousins. Because of those memories of camping, she was really happy when she and her boys and friends could use a lot at Lake Whatcom so that they could camp and swim. She loved to swim and sleep out in the open so she could listen to the water hit the shore. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she also loved spending time in the ministry helping others to learn about the Bible. We will miss her very much. A memorial will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1525 Electric Ave., on January 30th, at 1:00 p.m. in Bellingham.
