MaryAnn Gwin, 76, died July 9, 2016. She was born September 1, 1939, in Bellingham, Wash., to Victor and Nellie Daniels. She married Gary Gwin September 7, 1957, in Bellingham. MaryAnn was an administrative assistant at St. Augustine Episcopal Church on Whidbey Island. Through the years she was involved in her community as a volunteer, working with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Issaquah, Assumption Catholic Church in Bellingham, and St. Hubert Catholic Church on Whidbey Island. MaryAnn loved to camp and travel, once traversing the United States in 13 months. She also spent time in Italy and Greece with family. MaryAnn was also an avid bowler, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing. She is survived by husband Gary; daughters, Cynthia Knutson (Philip), Teresa Bretz (Calvin), and Sheri Johnson; sons, Gary Gwin (Ron) and Thomas Gwin (Brandi); sisters Rosemary Walsh (John), Mildred Nelson, and Georgean Gordon (Steve); eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was scheduled for Friday, July 15, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Enumclaw at 10 a.m. Burial will be Monday, July 18, at 11 a.m. at Greenacres Memorial Park in Bellingham.
