Patricia Ann Armes

On February 5th, Patricia Ann Armes, 87, passed away in her sleep a short two and a half months after the passing of her husband, Ronald. Patricia was born on January 14, 1924 to Everett "Emil" and Nellie Albersworth in Indianapolis, Indiana. She spent her youth in various cities across the country including Beaver Dam, WI and Washington, DC, where she worked as a clerk for the FBI prior to WWII. When life brought her to Burlingame, CA, she met Ronald and the two were married on September 8th, 1946. After a 10 year honeymoon period, they started a family and settled in West Covina, CA. Patricia was a dedicated mother and wife to her family first and foremost, and worked as a teacher's aide after her children grew up. In 2005, Ron and Pat moved to Lynden, WA, and later Ferndale, WA, to be closer to family, as well as the wooded scenery that they always adored. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, fishing, genealogy, taking care of others, and laughing. She will always be remembered as a caring, dedicated mother and wife, an affectionate grandmother and enthusiastic conversationalist. Patricia is survived by her son Gregory and his partner Susan of Ferndale, WA, grandkids Mike (Mandy) Armes & Sarah Armes of San Jose, CA and daughter Sandy and Bret Bryan and grandkids Mathew & Leanne of Port Orchard, WA.
