Paul Anderson, 90, passed away on March 8, 2016. He was born December 20, 1925 in Ferndale, Washington to Albin and Nellie (Birkeland) Anderson. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Joseph and his wife Lea Anderson; brother-in-law, Roger Van Batavia; his sisters, Ruth and her husband Dewey Ling, Esther Anderson, and Martha and her husband Oliver Nelson. Paul is survived by his sister, Maria Van Batavia of Mount Vernon; sister-in-law, June Anderson of Salem, Oregon; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many loving friends. Paul grew up on a dairy farm in Ferndale, Washington. He served in the Korean War, then came home and farmed with his father. Paul sold the farm in the late 1970's and moved to Bellingham, where he lived until his death. A funeral service will be held on March 19th, 2016 at Kern Funeral Home in Mount Vernon at 11:00 AM.
