Paula Smay of Soap Lake, WA passed away peacefully April 17,2013 in her home surrounded by her family after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Paula was born May 5, 1951 to Paul and Lavina (Ruff) Sink. Paula was the oldest of five children. She was a devoted wife to Charles Phillip Smay for 34 years, loving mother to her children and fun loving grandmother. Besides spending time with her family and loved ones, Paula enjoyed animals, antiquing, vintage fashion and gardening. Paula was preceded in death by her father, Paul Sink and great grandson, Aiden Orgill. She is missed by many, including her husband, Charles "Phil" Smay, her mother, Lavina Sink, her sisters Linda (Marvin Calahan), Vicki (Stan Gill), Marcy (Bobby Brown), her brother Jon Sink (Michele), her children Brandy Smay, Cassi Jordan, Shelby Smay, her grandchildren Kelsey Smay, Michael Madsen, Mackenzie Jordan-Smay and great granddaughter Hailee Orgill. Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church, 515 E Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA, Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local Humane Society.
