Sarah Ann (Mathews) Schmidt, age 46, has gone to be with her Lord in Heaven. She was born, grew up, and married in Columbus, Ohio. At age 26, she and her husband moved to North Carolina for 5 years and then have spent the last 15 years in the Seattle area, where their son entered their lives. They moved back to Columbus to be with family last October after Sarah was diagnosed with cancer. Sarah follows her Mother Ann, her aunt Eloise, and her aunt Virginia to Heaven. She leaves behind her husband Tom, son Brandon, father Edward, brother Paul, sisters Lynne and Carol. Sarah will be missed dearly for her love and caring of family, friends, and clients. We miss you Sarah, and please know that you will live forever in our hearts. You gave us your love, and for that we will be eternally grateful. A celebration of life will be held 4 PM Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in Bellingham with a reception to follow afterwards. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Adoptions, 12316 134th Ct NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
