Vera Lorrain Zimmerman-White walked quietly into eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at her home in SaddleBrooke, Tucson, AZ. Vera was born September 26, 1922 in Bottineau County, North Dakota to William and Freida Zimmerman, where she lived until she married her husband, Alvin A. White on August 21, 1942. Alvin and vera remained in the farming business until 1966 when they moved to Bellingham, WA, where they lived for 28 years until Alvin retired. In 1995, they moved to Tucson, AZ where she resided until her entry into Eternity. Vera is survived by her husband of 68 years, Alvin; her Children Sandra (Bill) Finke, Susan (Bruce) Morell, Alvin B. White, and Lonnie White; 5 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Vera enjoyed traveling, gardening, missions, and visiting her family and friends. Vera was an active woman of faith in home and church. Her endearment to her family and friends will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday March 11, 2011 at Catalina Lutheran Church 15855 N. Twin Lakes Dr., Tucson, AZ. Viewing from 10:30 am until time of service.
