Vivian Rossland passed away peacefully on May 10, 2016 at the age of 101. She was born on Sept. 27, 1914 in Williston, ND where she met Berger Rossland, the love of her life whom she married in 1933. Berger passed away in 1980. They had two sons; Bob (deceased) and Dick who lives in Reno. She has two daughter-in-laws whom she greatly loved, Anita Rama and Pat Hanson. she was blessed with seven grandchildren, Ross Hansen, Rob Hansen, Randy Rossland, Rick Rossland, Rene Meese, Bret Hansen and Venu Kotamraju. She has 13 great grandchildren, a niece and three nephews, one of whom, Howard Williams lives in Bellingham. Vivian has lived in Bellingham for the past 50 years. For the last 31 years she has lived independently at Ankar Park where she had many good neighbors and friends. She was very active in the Elk's Club, blood drives and enjoyed her many pinochle and bridge clubs. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. At Vivian's request, there will be no public services held. The family wishes to express their thanks to Circle of Life Care givers and Whatcom Hospice for their kindness.
