Evelyn T. Engholm, 88, passed away September 25th, in St. George, Utah.
She was born on September 19, 1924, in Hoquiam, WA. Evelyn graduated from Mt. Baker high School in 1941. She married John L. Engholm on May 23, 1941, and they lived together in Bellingham until 1978 when they retired to Bridgeport WA, spending winters in Mesa AZ.
Evelyn was an accomplished author of poetry and children's stories.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, John; children Sharon Ashley of Bellingham; Larry Engholm of North Seattle; Bonnie Stafford of Bellingham; Kathy and John Rayon of Texas; Fran Bohall of Anacortes; sister Delores Bjornstad of Bellingham. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Evelyn is dearly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
A Spring Memorial Service is being planned.
