Louis J. LaMont of Bellingham, age 95, passed away on June 13, 2013. He was born on November 20, 1917 in Autrain, Michigan. He took great pride in his work with the Operating Engineers but his heart was for his family and his love for music. He will be remembered for his version of the "King of the Road". Preceded in death by his son Allen LaMont (Sue), he leaves to survive his caring wife Alice and children, Deanna Watson (Bob) and Lou LaMont (Jeri). Also Grandchildren Annalee Miller (Brian), Lisa Ammerman (Greg), Kelli Wilcox (Nathan), Jeff LaMont (Jennifer), Roger LaMont, Steven LaMont and Mary Roop (David). Also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 16 great, great grandchildren. Also survived by 3 sisters, Francis VanDyke (Paul), Marguerite Worthington, Juanita Passinault and 1 brother Jim LaMont (Carole). He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and also enjoyed the outdoors with fishing and hunting. Funeral arrangements are pending at a later date.
