Nina Dorr Obituary

COHOES, N.Y. -- Nina L. Dorr, 66, of Old Loudon Road, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany after a brief illness. She was born on March 4, 1938 in Manchester, Vt. and was the daughter of Gladys Bushee Hoard of Manchester and the late Harold Hoard. She was a graduate of Burr and Burton Seminary in Manchester and was the beloved wife of the late Dexter D. Dorr, who died July 25, 1991. She had retired from Key Bank, NA where she had been a bank manager. She had worked for the bank for more than 20 years, working in Latham and the Corporate Woods offices. She enjoyed doing crafts and crossword puzzles and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her son, Kyle E. (Jennifer) Dorr of East Hartford, Conn. and her daughter Kelley F. (Christopher) Tuohy of Saratoga Springs. She was the sister of Frank Hoard of Manchester, Robert Hoard of Granville and Shirley Hosley of Manchester; and grandmother of Jayden and Spencer Dorr; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Dellwood Cemetery in Manchester.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.

The family has entrusted funeral arrangements to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park.
