Elizabeth Mary Loverin Robinson

1952-2014 BENNINGTON Elizabeth Mary Loverin Robinson, age 61, a resident of Webb Street in Bennington, died on Saturday, May 3 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Bennington on October 4, 1952 and was the daughter of the late Lester and Elizabeth (Harrod) Prue, Sr. She received her education in Bennington and following high school had studied art. Elizabeth had been employed at various long-term health care facilities as a nurse's aide for several years. She was a very conscientious care giver, and always looked to find the positive in others. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting. She enjoyed sewing, and making blankets. Elizabeth was an avid photographer, and has made several family collages as keepsakes. Elizabeth enjoyed traveling also. She is a former HAM radio operator and fomer member of Central Vermont Amatuer Radio Club On April 29, 2006 she married Alton Robinson in Bennington. They had recently made a trip to Hawaii, to fulfill a dream of hers. She enjoyed time with her family especially the grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Alton Robinson of Bennington; her four daughters; Heather (Eric) Shute of Gastonia, NC, Jennifer Loverin (Mark Danner) of Worcester, VT, Sarah (Barry) Bolio of Middlesex, VT and Nina Loverin of North Adams, MA. She leaves her grandchildren; Elizabeth and Thomas Shute, Alexis, Carter and Michael Bolio, Sophia Grace Loverin and Cole Jacobs. Elizabeth is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins including Lila and Penny. She also has three step-children. Her "special friends" Lucky and Greybob and her granddoggy, Dagon. FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St. Bennington at 1:00PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will take place privately by her family. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA and Hospice of SVHC and/or the Vermont Chapter of the through the Mahar and Son Funeral Home.
