BENNINGTON -- Linda L. Scott, 60, wife of Robert W. Scott, a resident of Oakes Street, Bennington, died on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Crescent Manor Care Centers surrounded by her family. Linda died following a brief illness.
Born in Cambridge, New York Dec. 19, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Frank Weber Jr. and Georgianna (Moon) Weber. She received her education at Cambridge Central School.
Linda worked many years at Mary McLellan Hospital in Cambridge and later at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington from where she retired in 2001.
One of her favorite pastimes was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Scott of Bennington; a step-daughter, Robin Crescente and her husband Frank of Lake George, NY; two grandchildren, Dominic and Ryder Crescente of Lake George; a stepson, Robert Scott Jr. of Rafraeford, North Carolina; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and John Pierce of Cambridge, New York, Fran and Michael Corcoran, Ruth and Frank Lofaro and Georgianna and James Mabee, all of Bennington; two special nieces, Bonnie Steiner and Angie Lazano; 12 nephews, Lloyd, Keith, Michael and Todd Pierce, Michael and Justin Corcoran, Jason and Shawn Lofaro and James, Jonathan, Scott and Shawn Mabee; an aunt, Patricia Bissonette of Hoosick Falls, New York. In addition to her parents Linda was predeceased by a brother, Frank Weber.
The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Friday, March 23, 2007, at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Robin Greene will perform the service.
Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.

We are so very sorry that Lin is no longer with you here, but she will always be with you in your heart as she watches over you from above.

Bob,We lost a good person but now she won't have to suffer anymore. I tried to be a good friend to LULU and I did my best ,I told her I"d be there for her and I was the best I could be.
