1989 - 2015 BENNINGTON Aaron S. Carr, a resident of Park St. passed away peacefully Sunday night, November 8th, 2015 surrounded by his loving family and closest friends. He was born in Greenfield MA, on December 17, 1989; though for most of his life he resided in Bennington. He was the only son and middle child of Joan (Matte) Carr and Theodore Carr. Aaron received his education in Bennington and was a 2008 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School. He was employed by Tatro Concrete in Bennington where he took pride in his hard work. He enjoyed hunting, videogames, music, drawing, fishing and spending time with his friends and family; he especially enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend and their dog, Monkey. Aaron was an amazing and unique individual with a magnetic personality which was evident to all those who met him. He made a positive impact on so many lives. He was a wonderful friend who would frequently leave everyone in tears from laughter and was an overflowing source of humor, warmth and joy. He was a protective brother, a self-titled "Mama's boy" and would do anything for his family and loved ones. Aaron was an incredible young man whose life ended far too soon. He was everyone's best friend and will be missed to no end. His absence will forever leave a deep void in many lives. Aaron leaves behind his mother, Joan Carr of Bennington; his father, Theodore Carr of Burlington; his two sisters, Ellora and Abigail Carr of Burlington and Bennington, respectively; his grandfather, Charlie Rayner of Shaftsbury; his Uncle Ivan, Aunt Wanda and cousin, Deidre Matte of Buskirk, NY; his uncle, Joseph Matte of San Francisco, CA; longtime and true friends, Kayla Williams of Albany, NY and Ira Sweet of Bennington; the love of his life, Stevie Main of Bennington; and countless loving family members, friends, and pets.
