Adele A. Kwasniak 1926 - 2009 HOOSICK FALLS, NY Adele A. Kwasniak, 83, died quietly and peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones, Sunday, Sept. 13, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vt. She resided on Babcock Lake Road and was the wife of the late Stanley Kwasniak, who died in 1987. Adele was born on March 5, 1926, in Ware, Mass., daughter of Joseph and Anna Bierowitcz Nowak. She attended schools in Ware. She worked at Ware Woolens as a seamstress, then married her husband in 1947. Then she worked the family farm and was a homemaker raising her children. She was a past member of the Home Bureau. She enjoyed reading, traveling and her pets. She leaves her daughters, Linda Miller of Petersburgh, N.Y., and Dianne Kwasniak of Hoosick Falls, sons, David Kwasniak and Paige of Hoosick Falls, and Michael Kwasniak and Elizabeth of California, Md., and 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. from the MAHAR FUNERAL HOME, 43 Main St. in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hoosick Falls, at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad of the Diabetes Foundation through the funeral home. Her life and spirit will be remembered in the faces of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
