Adeline St. Andrews 1918-2008 BENNINGTON Adeline St. Andrews ,89, widow of Robert St. Andrews a former resident of North Branch Street, died Saturday April 5, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington following a brief illness. Born in Shaftsbury, Vt. Nov. 8, 1918, daughter of the late Guy and Bertha McDonald Damon. She received her education in Bennington. Mrs. St. Andrews resided in Albany, N.Y. for over forty-five years where she was employed in the insurance business as a filing clerk. Adeline enjoyed crocheting. She leaves a step sister, Helen Mayhew of Bennington; nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. St. Andrews was pre-deceased by two sisters Marjorie and Hazel; two brothers Guy Damon Jr. and Harold Damon; a step brother, Everett J. Forrest. FUNERAL NOITCE: The funeral will be held from the MAHAR & SON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday April 10, 2008 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jerrod Hugenot, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery. If friends desire contributions in memory of Mrs. St. Andrews may be made to the Bennington Rescue Squad through the office of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington, VT 05201.
