Adrien L. Brunelle

1916 - 2014 CHICOPEE, MASS. Adrien L. Brunelle, 98, passed away in his home on July 14, 2014, surrounded by family. Adrien was born on Jan. 31, 1916, to William and Adeline (Ray) Brunelle in Winooski, Vt. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Adrien worked in construction at JG Roy, Fountaine Brothers, and retired from WJ Quinn in 1981. He was married to the love of his life, Thelma (Bruneau), and they spent many years together. Adrien and Thelma are both parishioners of St. Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. He was predeceased by his son, Michael F. Brunelle in November, 1995. Adrien is survived by his wife, Thelma Brunelle of Chicopee; three sons, Robert Brunelle and his wife, Kathleen, of Indian Orchard, Larry Brunelle of Tennessee, and Peter Brunelle of Chicopee; eight grandchildren, Lynne Ann, David, Annette, Tina, Steven, Jason, Eric, and Alice; eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Adrien will be Friday, July 18, at 10 a.m. in St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, 469 Main St, Bennington, Vt., at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 18. There will be no calling hours.
