Obituary Condolences

WEST TOPSHAM -- Amy A. Bolio, 84, formerly of Hancock, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin.

She was born March 25, 1921, in Moretown, the daughter of Albert and Katherine (Coots) Wade.

Amy attended schools in Moretown and Rochester and graduated from Randolph High School. She married Saywood Bolio Dec. 6, 1941, in Randolph. Mr. Bolio died in 1963. Mrs. Bolio lived in Hancock for 40 years.

Following the death of her husband, she worked at the Rochester Inn and did housekeeping in the area also. She later moved to Montpelier before moving to Bennington and most recently had made her home with her son in W. Topsham. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and fishing.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Bolio of Sommerville, Ala., and Ralph Bolio of West Topsham; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Albert Bolio, and a sister, Helen Bolio.

Private graveside services will be held in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Rochester, at a later date.
