Andrea Coolidge 1959 - 2008 DORSET, Vt. Andrea Brophy Coolidge, 48, of Dorset, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at her home. Born on Nov. 18, 1959 in Bennington, daughter of Gary and Barbara Grout Brophy, she was a 1977 graduate of Arlington Memorial High School and graduated from Champlain College in 1980 with a degree in business and criminal justice. For the past 27 years Andrea was employed at Bromley Mountain, where she was in charge of security. She was an honorary member of the Blue Knights and a member of the Green Mountain Travelers. Mrs. Coolidge was a member of the United Church of Dorset-East Rupert. Andrea enjoyed the outdoors, camping, traveling, motorcycling with the Blue Knights, gardening, raising her German Sheppard's and spending time with her family. She married her husband, John "Hal" Coolidge, on Aug. 29, 1987, in Dorset. Besides her husband she leaves her mother Barbara of East Arlington; a brother, Scott Brophy and his wife, Andrea, of Sunderland; a sister, Jennifer Brophy of Arlington; a brother-in-law, Howard Coolidge of Dorset; a sister-in-law, Glenda Kapusta of Dorset; nieces and nephews, Zach Humphrey of Shelton, Conn., Katlyn Humphrey of Williamstown, Mass., Nathan Brophy of Sunderland, Erica, Brynn and Bryce Coolidge all of Dorset, Kevin Kapusta of Dorset and Sarah Kapusta of Rutland. She was predeceased by her father Gary in 1978. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the United Church of Dorset-East Rupert. the Rev. Dr. James Gray will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the BREWSTER FUNERAL HOME, 34 Park Place Manchester on Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. when the family will be in attendance.
