Andrew (Andris) Petry 1942-2012 EAST DORSET, VT Andrew (Andris) Petry, 69, a resident of Butternut Glen, passed away March 10, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. Andrew was born in Riga, Latvia on December 17, 1942 the son of Arthur and Dusya (Glinskia) Petry and came to the United States in 1949. He proudly served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. Andrew was a mechanical engineer with Gould's Pump Company and Ralph M. Parsons Company, had his own engineering consultant business and worked at The Orvis Rod Shop until he retired to enjoy life. He loved fishing, camping, deer hunting with his camp brothers Ed and Greg Perkins and Walter D, duck hunting, wood carving, car shows and "putzin'" in his shop. He is survived by his wife, Sandy, of East Dorset; his mother, Dusya Lobanoff, of Montgomery, Texas; two children, daughter Alison Reynolds and her husband, Robbie, of Las Vegas, Nev. , and son Alec Petry and his wife, Jenny, of East Dorset; step-sons, Corey, Christopher and Joe in California; his two brothers, John Petry and his wife, Wendy, of Magnolia, Texas and Tom Petry and his wife, Pam, of Manchester, Vt.; step-brothers Greg and Andre Lobanoff; his grandchildren Noah and Kayla Reynolds and Andris and Emma Petry; nephews Christopher, Nicholas, Michael, TJ, and Tyler Petry, and Robert Reid; and very close friends and part of our family for over 50 years, Tom and Penny Langan, Bill Van Vorst and John Baxendale. A service of visitation will be held Friday March 16, 2012 from 5 to 7p.m. at BREWSTER FUNERAL SERVICE, 34 Park Place, Manchester Center, Vermont when the family will be in attendance. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Andrew's memory may be made to the Rutland Area VNA and Hospice Program or Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center, c/o Brewster Funeral Service, P.O.
