Anna Grennan

HOOSICK FALLS, NY Anna Grennan, 94, a lifelong resident passed away, April 28, 2010. She was the widow of William M. Grennan, who died in January 1993. Daughter of Frank and Anna Milwitz Zilinskas, she was a lifelong communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception.

Mrs. Grennan attended St. Mary's Academy and was a member of St. Mary's Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters of America.

At one time she worked for the Specialty Mfg. Company and retired from Holman Mfg. Corp., where she worked for 28 years.

Mrs. Grennan was predeceased by two sisters, Mary and Veronica, and five brothers, Anthony, Charles, Peter, Stephen and Bernard.

Mrs Grennan leaves a son, William and wife, Patricia, of Hoosick Falls, and a daughter, Anne Marie and husband, Edward Donovan, of Sarasota, Fla.; grandchildren, Kristen Wyman and Kelli Grennan of Hoosick Falls, Sheila O'Sullivan of Albany, N.Y., and James Donovan of Simpsonville, Ky.; four great-grandchildren, Brendan and Kerry O'Sullivan, Haley Donovan, Payton Dailey; one cousin and several nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be Monday, May 3, at 9:15 a.m. from the MAHAR FUNERAL HOME, 43 Main St., Hoosick Falls, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, May 2, from 5-7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Academy or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
