Obituary Condolences

COHOES, N.Y. -- Anna J. LaMagdeline Lockrow, 75, of Church Street, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, embraced by her loving family. Born in Hoosick Falls, where she received her education, she was the beloved wife of Herman Lockrow of Cohoes and daughter of the late Medause and Lola Bailey LaMagdeline.

Anna was employed as a sewing machine operator for Undergarment in Hoosick Falls, Cluett and Peabody in Troy and Barclays in Cohoes. She was devoted to her family. They were the focus of her life and she will be fondly remembered as the peacemaker.

Anna is survived by her loving children, Mary Jane Lavigne of Seymour, Tenn., Cheryl M. Douglas Gowett of Elizabethtown and Dennis J. Lockrow of Pittstown; and her sisters, Rita Danforth of Hoosick Falls, Velma Blazejewski of Adams, Mass. and Catherine Yvonne Kilburn of Washington. She is also survived by five cherished grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Joyce and Joan LaMagdeline.

Funeral services will be held in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home Ltd., 105 Vliet Blvd., Friday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday evening Friday 5-8 p.m.
