Anne Kessler Kyer 1918 - 2009 LANESBORO Anne Kessler Kyer was called home to heaven on July 15, 2009 at Florida Hospital Lake Placid. Anne was born Aug. 30, 1918 in Lanesboro, and lived in the White Creek, N.Y., area for 62 years before moving to Lake Placid, Fla., in 1985. She retired as a salesperson for Stanley Home Products. She was very active in the White Creek Grange, the Methodist Church and the Ridge Riders Saddle Club. A former Queen of the Vermont Flying Farmers. Anne was preceded in death by her adoring husband of 52 years, Edward Kyer, Sr., as well as her son, Edward, Jr. She leaves a daughter, Mary Lyn Martin, and son-in-law, Bill Martin; brother, Henry I. Kessler; daughter-in-law, Barbara Kyer, six granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. FUNERAL NOTICE: Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Anne's life on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, 11 a.m. at The Jermain United Methodist Church of White Creek, NY. A luncheon at the West farm will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a charitable donation be made in Anne's name to Macular Degeneration Foundation, Inc; P.O.
