Arthur J. "Dee" Kilburn MANCHESTER Arthur J. "Dee" Kilburn, 82, died October 21st at his home after a long illness. Dee was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He was the son of Walter R. "Ted" and Cora Woodard Kilburn. His brothers, Karl and Joseph Kilburn, and his sister, Judith Kilburn Cross, predeceased him. Dee is survived by his wife, Adella Brooks Kilburn, whom he married on September 13, 1946. He is also survived by a brother, Theodore Kilburn and his wife Edith. At age 15, Dee joined the Marine Corps., one year and a day after the bombing at Pearl Harbor. During his service, he was involved in the landing at Okinawa. He founded Dee's Electrical Services, Inc. which continues to this day. He was an active member of the Manchester community, including the VFW and Rotary, and gave his time unselfishly to many events, including the July 4th celebration. Dee is survived by his children: Marlene and Edward Cutler, Michael and Astri Kilburn, Teresa and Richard Kennedy, Jeffrey and Candace Kilburn, Mark Kilburn, Mary and Robert Sanderson, Arthur and Bonnie Kilburn, Scott and Kelly Kilburn, Rose and Jordan Smith, and Denise and Lewis "Bucky" Tuttle. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Bryce, Nicole, Bjorn, Kaja, Andrew, Heather, Heath, Tenaya, Dinetah, Troy, Karen, Anne, Stacy, Jeremiah, Arthur, Taylor, Carson, Gunner, and Kyle; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
