HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. -- Barbara Brenenstuhl, 59, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, in Hoosick Falls. She was the wife of Clark Brenenstuhl. They resided on Brenenstuhl Road in Hoosick Falls.

She was born on April 25, 1946, in Troy, daughter of Ann (Cavin) Brown of Tampa, Fla., and the late William Brown Sr.

She graduated from Hoosick Falls High School and Cobleskill Community College. Barbara formerly worked at the Kmart in Bennington, Vt. She enjoyed crocheting, reading Danielle Steel novels, watching the “CSI” television show and being with her dog Quincy. Barbara was a member of the Hoosick Baptist Church.

Survivors other than her mother, Ann, and husband, Clark, include two daughters, Candace Dorr and her husband, Brian, of Casatrande, Ariz., and Jackie Farnham and her husband, Charlie, of Cherry Valley; two sons, Paul Browe and Daniel Browe and his wife, Jessie, all of Grafton; a sister, Alice Hohn and her husband, Harvey, of Cambridge; four brothers, William Brown Jr. and his wife, Jo Ann, of Hoosick Falls, Freddie Brown of Tampa, Fla., Paul Brown of Oklahoma, Matthew Brown and his wife, Laura, of Tampa, Fla.; her sister-in-law, Carol Brown, of Tampa, Fla. Barbara is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Barbara is pre-deceased by a son, John Browe, and a brother, Mark Brown.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main St. in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Hoosick Fire Department through the funeral home.
