Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- A prayer service was held for Beatrice Boutin on Friday morning, June 23, 2006, at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of resurrection at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church. Officiating the Mass was the Rev. Vincent Coppola, associate pastor. Acolytes for the Mass were Leonard Anzivino, Gerald Amadon and Joseph Anton.

The musical selections were sung by Monica Murray. They included “How Great Thou Art,” “Prayer of St. Francis,” “Be Not Afraid, I Am The Bread Of Life” and “Ave Maria.”

Accompanying Ms. Murray on the organ was Louise Gauthier.

Upon arrival at the church the pall was placed over the casket by Mrs. Boutin’s four children: Bernadette Carbin, Mary Willette, James Boutin and Joseph Boutin. The wooden cross was placed on the casket by her husband, Leon J. Boutin.

The New Testament was read by her granddaughter, Jennifer Mane, and the Old Testament was read by her grandson. Jason Fleming.

The Eucharist gifts were brought to the altar by her three granddaughters, Sarah, Samantha and Andrea Willette and her niece, Vicki Thibodeau.

Pallbearers for the services were grandsons Andy Boutin, Jason Fleming, Carl Wilkins, Timothy Wilkin and sons-in-law Edward Willette and Richard Carbin.

A prayer service at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home preceded the funeral Mass.

Thursday evening the wake service was offered at the funeral home by the Rev. James Preskinis, pastor of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales church.

Burial took place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery with Father Copploa offering the committal prayers.

Mrs. Boutin died June 19, 2006, at Crescent Manor Care Centers in Bennington.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
