SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Bernadette “Bubbles” Duguay, 95, of Frank Street, died on Nov. 18, 2005 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady.

Bernadette was born in Bennington, Vt. She lived in North Adams, Mass., for a number of years before moving to Schenectady.

She was a hairdresser for more than 40 years. She owned her own salon, Bernadette’s Beauty Salon, in North Adams for a number of years.

She was a member of the Annie Schaffer senior citizen’s club where she attended French class. She was also a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church and its seniors group.

She leaves a brother, Robert Parker of Lake Placid, Fla.; a sister, Bertha Haug of Boston; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., and at noon at St. Paul the Apostle Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Parklawn Cemetery in Bennington.
