Bernadette Mary "Bunny" Boutin BENNINGTON Bernadette Mary "Bunny" Boutin. God recognized her many talents and her loving and caring ways and called her to Heaven to become one of his Special Angels on March 9, 2009. Daughter of Leon Joseph Boutin and the late Beatrice C. Palmer Boutin, born March 10, 1947, in Bennington; married first to Richard Wilkin of Essex Junction, and later to Richard C. Carbin of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. This most loving, caring, beautiful, and sharing Special Angel attended Sacred Heart School, Bennington Catholic High School, and received her R.N. from De Goesbriand/Jeanne Mance School of Nursing in Burlington, where her mother, Beatrice, had also attended 27 years earlier. She then practiced pediatric nursing in Manchester, N.H., and upon moving to Troy, N.Y., used her highly skilled nursing at Samaritan Hospital, where her knowledge was also put to good use in Case Management, that later led to her offer from Albany Medical when they first started their department. Before her clinical retirement, she was the head person in Utilization Review. She leaves her children, Timothy M. Wilkin of Syracuse, N.Y., Vicki F. Thibodeau of Clifton Park, N.Y., First Sergeant Karl S. Wilkin and his wife, Debbie, Army, Fort Bliss, Texas, and her extended family, Melanie J. Carbin of Petersburg, N.Y.; Sheila M. Camacho of Monterey, Calif., and Richard W. Carbin of Seki, Japan,; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; her siblings, Leona D'Agnes of Kailus, Hawaii, James Boutin of Pownal, Joseph Boutin of Sunderland, Mary Willette of Bennington, and her father, Leon Boutin of Bennington. MEMORIAL NOTICE: In her ever-sharing ways, Bunny made an anatomical gift to AMC and her ashes will be buried on top of her Mom's receptacle in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington. Again her always thinking of others, she asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions are made to the Ronald McDonald House of Albany, NY. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church 238 Main St.,Bennington, on Friday, March 13, 2009, at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
