Beverly Holbrook 1932-2011 BENNINGTON Beverly Holbrook, 79, a resident of Beech Street in Bennington, passed away peacefully Sunday April 24, 2011 at Crescent Manor Care Center in Bennington. Beverly was born in Utica, N.Y., on March 31, 1932 the daughter of Frederick L. and Mildred Barber. She was educated at the Maynard School in Latham and Colonie, N.Y. Beverly worked as a nurses aide at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge, N.Y., and at Owl Kill Farm in White Creek, N.Y. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and loved animals, especially cats and birds. Beverly loved her home and spending time with her family. Beverly is survived by her children, Arlene Rogers of Bennington, Vt., Kathleen Reese-Restino and her husband Greg of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., Kenneth Rogers and his wife Nancy of Tomball, Texas, her sister Judy Shambo and her husband John of Colonie, N.Y. and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother William A Barber who died in 1967 and her sister June Barber who died in 1941. At the request of the family, funeral services will be private and held at a later date. There are no visiting hours.
