Obituary Condolences

ARLINGTON -- The liturgy for the burial of the dead for Carolyn Augusta Hines Holt was held Monday morning, June 19, 2006, at St. James Episcopal Church.

Celebrants for the service were the Rev Bradford Clark and the Rev. Pamela Porter. The prelude was sung by soloist Lindsay Dyett and hymnal music was under the direction of organist Laura Woodward, who led the congregation in the singing of the hymns “Lord Of All Hopefulness,” “Breathe On Me Breath Of God,” “Abide With Me” and “The King Of Love.”

The Rev. Clark offered the homily and a time of remembrance. Scripture readings and the gospel were read by grandsons Michael and Stephen Zylinaski. Memories were also shared by other family members and friends of the family.

A time of fellowship and refreshments followed the service in the memorial lounge hosted by the Women of St. James.

Carolyn Augusta Hines Holt, a resident of Red Mountain Road and New Canaan, Conn., died June 13, 2006, at her home in Arlington.

Arrangements were under the care of Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home Arlington Chapel, Route 7A.
